With three steamy concerts, Xander will show his versatility as a musician. Get ready for a series of unique collab-concerts with three completely different colleagues/friends. It’ll be a musical journey of discovery for both performer and audience. It takes you along the most beautiful things that classic Americana, smart soul and absurdist Nederpop has to offer.
Together with Rhythm & Blues freak, singer-songwriter and longtime friend Tim Knol, Xander will provide the opening night. On the second evening, a concert will follow with ‘Zangeres des Vaderlands’ Brigitte Kaandorp. And finally, Xander climbs the stage with MY BABY frontwoman Cato van Dijck. With all three performances, the goal is to pull each other out of the comfort zone and embark on an adventure together. After all, that is when the magic happens.

Friday, April 3
x Tim Knol
Tim and Xander know each other from the “backstage polder glamour” at the Dutch festivals. They like to walk a lot together so and have endlessly conversations about music. They find each other in their love for Americana music. Xander: “We both love a different kind of genre: I’m more the soul type a guy, and Tim loves Rhythm ‘n Blues.” This often leads to discussions about which genre actually beats the other. Are you ready for this battle on the stage of the WestergasTheater on April 3rd?
Friday, May 8
x Brigitte Kaandorp
Xander has been an fan of Brigitte’s music for years. When they went on holiday, the Vrienten family used to listen to Kaandorp in the car. Xander has been wondering for years why she doesn’t make a CD of all her songs. It’s exact this identity that we’ll witness on stage at the WestergasTheater: ‘Brigitte The Singer’.
