De Wester can be expanded with the adjacent venues of WestWeelde (Liefde, Unie, Restaurant), creating a total space of 1530 m². Ideal for events of up to 1,900 visitors. De Wester can also be used as a breakout room combined with the Gashouder (under construction until 2026).

Westergas as event location

Westergas has been a household name in Amsterdam for years. In 2018, the Westergasfabriek buildings were renamed Westergas. The same place, with new energy: Amsterdam’s Cultural Park. The seventeen historic buildings were each given a new purpose and are now home to creative businesses, events and festivals. These venues host a wide range of both commercial and cultural events.
