Organise an event in the Meterhuisje
In the middle of bustling Pazzanistraat lies our picturesque Meterhuisje. Located between Cantine de Caron and the Ketelhuis, this detached country house is a dream spot for intimate events and pop-ups.
The house looks small and cosy from the outside, but still has a surprising amount of space thanks to its practical layout with a spacious loft and high domed ceiling. The space can be arranged as desired and is perfectly suited to, for example, art exhibitions, brand activations, but also lectures, receptions and an intimate dinner.
The capacity of this venue is 49 persons and the surface area over 70m2. The minimum rental period is 1 month. If you rent the Meterhuisje, you can also use its front garden and furniture. For more information and prices, please mail events@westergas.nl.

Some of the historical factory buildings at Westergas are rented as shells, others with standard technology. It’s best to leave the entire coordination, administration and/or production of your event to one party. This makes it uncluttered, convenient and creates space for you to focus entirely on the content.
We advise you to roll with a production company that has experience with the location. Backbone International knows Westergas like the back of their hand. Visitors of events should feel safe, and they should be safe, too. Obviously, you want them to enjoy to the fullest. That’s why proper security is essential. Not too overly present, but surely not absent.
Risk Safety & Security is a specialist in the field of security, crowd control and fire safety and has very broad experience with event security. The experience ranges from large dance events to (small-scale) events. Risk employees are service oriented, representative and hospitable at every level, whereby everyone’s safety comes first.
Risk can also support in the preliminary process in the area of permits, consultation with the municipality and police and drawing up a risk analysis + safety and evacuation plan.
Risk is in possession of the Security Hallmark and the Event Security Hallmark, which guarantees good organisation and the highest degree of integrity. With these qualities they fit well with Westergas.

Visitors of Westergas can freely use WiFi in all the event buildings and most of the surrounding park.
System management, internet services, data traffic, on-site internet and event-WiFI are important digital topics for both small and large events. Event Engineers offer complete customized ICT- support. They take care of temporary infrastructures or complete internet services and service management.
Is our default wireless network not sufficient for the event? Think about Event WiFi: guaranteed great internet coverage, at all times and all over the place.
Car
From the Ring Road A10: take exit S103/S104 (Haarlem) and drive over the Haarlemmerweg in the direction of Centrum. On your left hand side, you’ll see the Westergas.
From Schiphol: take the A4 in the direction of Amsterdam (Ring Road A10) and take the exit S103 in the direction of Centrum, down the Haarlemmerweg. On your left hand side, you’ll see the Westergas.
Public Transport
From Amsterdam Central Station, you take Bus 21. Get off at the stop Van Hallstraat/Westergasfabriek. At night, Bus 283 goes from and to Central Station from the stop Van Limburg Stirumstraat.
Are you traveling from Amsterdam-Centrum? Take tram 5 and get off at Van Limburg Stirumplein or the stop Van Hallstraat/Westergasfabriek.
Shuttle service by A1 Golf Kart Rental
Golf karts also work outside golf courses. Transport your guests with a shuttle service from the parking garage to Westergas. You could do this with A1 Golf Kart Rental. They’ve got a vast amount of cars. There’s also space for advertisements on the karts. This can create the ultimate brand experience during your event.

Need to load and unload quickly? Then you can go to the address, Polonceaukade 40.
Affordable parking
You can park your car at Q-Park on the Van Bleiswijkstraat and at parking garage Willemspoort on the Haarlemmerplein. Q-Park is at walking distance from Westergas and is opened 24 hours a day. You can also park affordably at parking garage Willemspoort.
